'Fresh Ink' is a free program being offered in response to the impact of COVID-19 on emerging writers. The collaboration aims to provide a combination of practical guidance and inspiration. 'Fresh Ink' is open to anyone who is interested in writing in any genre and wants to develop their practice and networks.

The program of eight events comprises presentations, panels, networking and interactive group sessions. Presenters include leading publishing industry representatives such as literary agent Jane Novak, whose clients include award-winning writers Helen Garner, Kate Grenville, and Behrouz Boochani. The program also features local and visiting writers such as Susan Francis, Ewa Ramsey, Omar Sakr, and Bri Lee.
