Opening Night: Dicey Topics with Gina Chick and Benjamin Law

7:30pm | Concert Hall, Newcastle City Hall

Each week in Good Weekend magazine, Benjamin Law asks public figures to discuss the subjects we’re told to keep private by getting them to roll a die. The numbers they land on are the topics they’re given: money, sex, death, religion, bodies, or politics. Join us for a special live edition of Dicey Topics with Gina Chick, the inaugural winner of Alone Australia, whose best-selling memoir We Are The Stars tells a 'misfit's story' of love, connection, and letting go.

MC Dan Cox.
Proudly supported by Good Weekend magazine.

Running time 90 minutes. Times are approximate and subject to change without notice.

Civic Theatre Newcastle is selling tickets for Opening Night at Newcastle City Hall and events taking place at the Playhouse. For all other events, please visit Newcastle Writers Festival
