The LGBTQI+ community in Newcastle are hosting some great events over the next month, starting this week to invite some like minded LGBTQI+ community to connect in a safe and fun space.
Colour the Night
Presented by ACON, The City of Newcastle, and Awabakal, this is a FREE catered event celebrating LGBTQ+ artists, creative expression and LGBTQ+ inclusion in Newcastle. Colour the Night is the launch and awards ceremony for the Life in Colour LGBTQ+ Art Prize and Exhibition, which provides a platform for local LGBTQ+ people to express their stories through their artwork.

In celebration of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia, we invite you to come dressed in drag and get your skates on! Come along to the YWCA Hunter Region LGBTQIA+ & Friends Skate Night! Do you love skating and listening to music? Join us for a fun night on wheels! Our venue will be transformed into a skating arena, great for beginners and pros alike.

Newcastle Prides ” FLOOD RELIEF FUNDRAISER”
The recent 2022 floods are one of the worst recorded flood disasters forcing thousands of people to flee their homes the devastation and loss is heartbreaking. Newcastle Pride wants to do our part to help people and families affected by the floods and need help. WE want to raise as much money as we can to assist people who have lost everything they owned.SO we will bring you an afternoon night fundraising event!
