Everything is Awesome - Brickfest is back and bigger than ever!

  • 15 June 2023

Get ready LEGO fans.

Newcastle’s longest-running festival celebrating the iconic little yellow brick is back again for 2023!

That’s right, Newcastle Brickfest will run for two days (Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July) at Newcastle Jockey Club and there will be more LEGO-related fun than you can poke a brick at!

The young and young at heart are sure to be impressed and inspired and budding builders will have the chance to chat with exhibitors to ask questions about their magnificent displays.

Building a solid foundation of fun for the past ten years, Brickfest has also been doing its bit to support an array of worthy causes - donating more than $120,000 to schools and charities in the Newcastle region.

This year’s Brickfest charity partner is the John Hunter Children’s Hospital Kids Club.

There will also be a literal ton of LEGO fun to be had including speed build, colouring-in and find the mini-figure competitions, a build area where you can unleash your creativity after being inspired by the weird and wonderful creations, remote control trackers, a LEGO raffle and more.

To ensure all lego fans have the chance to experience all Brickfest has to offer, there will be staggered start times and limits per session, but once you’ve entered the event, you can stay as long as you like!
