Street food fans are in for a tasty treat next weekend as Hamilton gears up for a celebration of all things noodle.
The inner-city suburb’s James Street Plaza will come alive with the sights and smells of an eclectic array of hawker-style Asian food stalls when the Night Noodle Market sets up shop over two days on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July.
Hungry crowds will be able to tickle their taste buds and warm their bellies under a canopy of coloured lights and lanterns.
There will also be musical performances from such local talent as Abbi Yeo and David Javier, as well as fun activities such as face painting, balloon twisting and children’s rides, making this family friendly event a great one for school holiday fun.
If that wasn’t enough, the Plaza will come alive with a Blue Sapphires Chinese Dance Demonstration, and the creative boffins over at Curious Legends will be bringing thei giant roaming illuminated dragon along for the festivities.
This mythical marvel is a true sight to behold and is guaranteed to add some excitement, warmth and colour to a dark winter’s night!
Like a spot of magic with your meal? Well you’re in luck because Newcastle’s own magical marvel, The Pretty Amazing Jono will also be on hand to beguile and amaze with his fabulous tricks, crazy circus stunts, and infectious humour!
The Night Noodle Market will be on at James Street Plaza on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July from 5pm to 9pm.
