The school holidays are well and truly upon us now and if you’re scratching your head thinking of ways to keep your kids entertained you needn’t worry.

Holiday Workshop: Force + Motion

University of Newcastle
At this fun, hands-on STEM workshop for primary school students from years 3 to 6, your curious kids will investigate how objects move, and why objects stay still.
They will also explore gravity, magnetism, and the forces of flight!
Workshop activities throughout the day include a hands-on exploration of magnetism, designing, making and testing towers, rockets and parachutes and SMART’s interactive Force and Motion Science Show.

Young People’s Theatre presents The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as the second production in their special 75th anniversary season.
Four children who wander into an incredible country through an old wardrobe and help the country return to summer.
In the incredible land of Narnia, they make friends with the frightened forest people who have almost given up hope for the return of good King Aslan, their true ruler.
