Urzila Carlson - Just No
Sunday 14 May and Monday 15 May
Civic Theatre

We live in trying times and are acutely aware of each other's opinions and shortcomings, making us the most frustrated population in the history of humankind. If you've ever queued up and someone blatantly cuts in front of you, past generations may have let that slide, but us, NO- JUST NO!

In Just No!, the always hilarious Urzila Carlson has discovered our frustrations are what brings us together, not sport, not love, not peace - but people who do us wrong or get on our nerves.

Tickets are selling like hotcakes for both shows so get in fast!

Miss Porter's Mother's Day Open House
Sunday 14 May
Miss Porter’s House Museum

Treat Mum to a slice of history and enjoy the special displays of memorabilia belonging to the Porter women of 20th century Newcastle West. Enjoy a tour of the house and browse the homemade craft and plant stall.

The museum is the former home of the remarkable Porter women and the collection includes clothing, photographs, craft work and household items of Florence and her daughters. Herbert Porter died in 1919 during the influenza epidemic, leaving his young family to make their own way through the 20th century. The Porter sisters, Hazel and Ella, never married and supported their mother throughout her life. Both grandmothers of the Porter sisters were equally remarkable and strong women.
