Movies at Museum Park continues to entertain young and old with a fabulous selection of vintage Disney Classics this weekend. Catch 101 Dalmatians (1961) on Thursday night and everyone's favourite Beauty and the Beast (1991) with closed captions on Friday night from 6.15pm. Don't let the weather hinder you....the movies will still screen inside in the BHP Theatre if the weather is wet.
Head to the Newcastle Library on Thursday for a celebration of the spoken word as it collides with music in a heady mix of soaring piano, freestyle dance and hip hop, powerful slam poetry, raucous saxophone and punchy guitar. Friday at Library After Dark will see catastrophe, superstitions & dark gloomy glorious drag hosted by drag performers Abork, Neil E Falik & Orlando.
Pop by Civic Alfresco Thursday-Saturday for some free live music from Jye Sharpe, Hunter Opera and the High Andies.
Pacific Park will come alive again with Pacific Nights on Saturday and Sunday between 5pm and 9pm this week featuring guest producers Love David on Saturday and Palace on Sunday.

The Newcastle LGBTQI+ community are hosting some wonderful events throughout May to connect at fun and safe events starting this Friday with a free catered event LGBTQ+ artists, creative expression and LGBTQ+ inclusion in Newcastle. In celebration of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia you are invited to come dressed in drag and get your skates on at the YWCA Hunter Region LGBTQIA+ & Friends Skate Night on Saturday night. The Hunter Disability Expo kicks off on Friday and Saturday at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre as part of the Count Us In 2022 festival in Newcastle. It's your one stop shop to check out disability services and products, government agencies and advocacy - all under the one roof over 2 days. There will be over 150 exhibitors plus a jam-packed schedule of speakers on performers at the stage and entry is free.

This week is no different at Civic Theatre Newcastle with a wonderful adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre presented by shake & stir theatre co. This stunning new production, features original music written and performed by multi ARIA Award winner Sarah McLeod.
PUFFS concludes this weekend with performances on Friday and Saturday at the Civic Theatre Newcastle. This hilarious and heartfelt journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.

This weekend the skies over the Central Coast Airport at Warnervale will roar into life with the unforgettable sights and sounds of an action-packed airshow! The Central Coast Airshow will be displaying some rare and unique warbirds, unbelievable aerobatics from some of Australia’s top champion pilots jaw-dropping and eye-popping stunts and a festival ground packed with delicious street food, local markets, amusement rides for the kids, car displays, RAAF display and entertainment.
