Newcastle's biggest month of comedy has kicked off with the Newcastle Comedy Festival showcasing some of the best stand-up comedians in the comedy circuit. Save the date over the next month to see Sarah Gaul (WIFE), Daniel Muggleton (WHITE & WRONG (BUT MOSTLY WHITE)), Cameron James (ELECTRIC DREAMS), Michelle Brasier (AVERAGE BEAR), Luke Heggie (YOUR STUPID), and Robyn Reynolds (MERMAID). Spread across various venues including the Playhouse and City Hall, these shows will have you in stitches from start to finish.
Every Friday and Saturday night, you can catch some of the best local comedians in the Saturday Night Showcase and Friday Night Stand Up Comedy at the Newcastle Comedy Club. Support the Newcastle and beyond acts that may be trying to take their comedic routines to the next level. However, all shows come with a coarse language warning and viewer discretion is advised.
If you love nothing better than catching up with mates for a drink and a laugh, check out the FREE comedy nights at Wickham Park Comedy Club on Wednesdays, Clown and Anchor Comedy at the Crown and Anchor Hotel and Rising Star Comedy nights on Thursdays at the Star Hotel.
