Dress up and dance
Move over Jane Fonda…Monday Fondalicious is back with a bang, fluro legwarmers and all. Join in on the monthly Monday night aerobics class at The Station where you'll have a blast working out to banging 80s tunes. Whether you're there for the workout, the company, the photos, or the music, we guarantee it's going to be a good time! Dressing brightly in your best 80s aerobics attire is highly encouraged, but wear anything you can move in and don't forget to wear sneakers. No skills are required, just a party attitude!
Solve a murder mystery
Murder, mystery, lies and deception…sound right up your alley? Head along to Blood on the Clocktower at The Stag & Hunter Hotel, the supernatural murder mystery game where death is not the end, and no game is ever the same. The event is held once a month on Tuesdays, with several games played per night. Use all your powers of deduction and deception to survive this thrilling game of murder and mystery!
Bathe in sound waves
Lay down, close your eyes, and allow yourself to be washed away by a world of beautiful sound at Hidden Strings Sound Dreaming. Featuring guitar and cello, and drawing on many years of experience as performers, composers and yogis Christopher and Naomi hold a space of blissful healing and rest.
Somewhere between a sound bath and a musical performance, Hidden Strings hold a space in which you can simply be what you are in this moment. Lay down, sit, stand, move, or do any sort of quiet activity you wish. Bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, or anything else to make you comfortable, and get ready for a night on blissful relaxation.
Unleash your inner artist in nature
Come and get creative with the National Parks Discovery Rangers. They are hosting a weekly Summer Series Art Class where you'll be inspired by surrounding nature to get hands on and create your own artwork. If you love getting creative and expressing yourself through painting, photography, drawing or writing, this class is for you!
Over at Hunter Wetlands you can also try your hand at Nature Journaling, a great way to capture the nature in your backyard, local park, or nature reserve through art. Suitable for all ages and levels of experience. This event is hosted by the Hunter Region Field Naturalists & Nature Journaling Club.
