Celebrate Newcastle Museum's Australia in Space exhibition in a digital way! This is a coding workshop using Scratch coding for 8-12 year olds. Devices are provided, and no Scratch experience is required.

In this workshop you will learn about the International Space Station and when to spot it over Newcastle! Using Scratch, you will code a reaction-timing game and compare your reaction time to how far the ISS would have moved in that time. Watch out - it travels fast!

Cost: Free

Ages: 8-12 years only please

Bookings essential. Bookings open on 4 January here: https://www.trybooking.com/CMVFF

If you book and can no longer attend, please email the Museum at enquiries@newcastlemuseum.com.au to cancel your tickets so that we can give them to someone on the waitlist.

If you miss out on this workshop, it will be on at Newcastle Libraries during the Summer School Holidays, check the Newcastle Libraries What's On Calendar for details.
