A Commercial Gallery: Its role in promoting art
Launched in July 2022, STRAITJACKET Gallery is an art partnership run by two artists: Dino Consalvo and Ahn Wells. Located in Newcastle, the Gallery presents curated solo, group and represented artist exhibitions.
Join Dino Consalvo as he explores the role of the commercial gallery in exhibiting contemporary Australian art, and in fostering careers of local and national artists.
About Coffee with Art
On the first Wednesday of the month, from February to November, enjoy morning tea and hear from artists, curators, designers and specialists in the visual arts.
Please note: Due to the Newcastle Art Gallery expansion project, this event will be held in the Hunter Room at Newcastle City Hall.
