An Artistic Legacy: America's Gilded Age
The Gilded Age was a time of enormous wealth in America. In 2023, Ron Ramsey led an Art Gallery of NSW tour from New York along the Hudson River to Boston.
Tour highlights included visits to the mansions and museums of influential families from the 19th century to the 20th century – many of whom left substantial artistic legacies.

On the first Wednesday of the month, from February to November, enjoy morning tea and hear from artists, curators, designers and specialists in the visual arts.
Please note: Due to the Newcastle Art Gallery expansion project, this event will be held in the Lord Mayoral Reception Room at Newcastle City Hall.
