The Community Clean Up at Ironbark Creek will commence at the park at the corner of Tyrrell and Bunn street, Wallsend. We will walk along Ironbark Creek and end at the Federal Park playground area, where a free lunch will be provided.

All materials required for the clean up provided.

Walking distance for the clean up is approximately 1.5km.

These projects are designed to provide environmental education to the community, promoting awareness about the importance of maintaining clean public spaces, and hearing community feedback on how to better maintain the area. It is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and protect our natural environment and the creek which is a vital part of our local ecosystem.

Bookings preferred but not required.

These projects are a NSW Environmental Protection Authority Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy initiative, funded from the waste levy and run by Purple Card Project.
