A new dance performance “A Crane dancing in the breeze” is now available on the University’s website (https://www.newcastle.edu.au/engage/school-and-community-programs/confucius-institute).
This dance celebrates the harmony with nature and the pursuit of joy in life and serenity from our environment. Accompanied by the music played with Qin (a seven-string musical instrument), this is a story of an elegant “crane” dancing to the symphony of insects, birds and babbling brook in the breeze under the moonlight. The audience will get to enjoy a captivating moment of lightness!
