Marketown Textile and Soft Toy Fix-It Clinic

To support National Recycling Week (11th-17th November), Marketown will be hosting a textile and soft toy fix-it clinic on Saturday 16th November.

Upcycle Newcastle will be on hand on the day to make minor repairs to textile household & fashion items and soft toys. Upcycle Newcastle is a local community group dedicated to the circular economy and reducing textile waste by promoting creative reuse and repair. The objective of the fix-it clinic is to raise awareness of fixing textile items rather than throwing them into landfill.
