The glorious sound of the 100 voice Newcastle University Choir is joined by top-flight soloists Phil Costovski, Simon Lobelson, Anna Sandstrom and Keara Donohoe and the Christ Church Camerata in this spectacular performance. Dr Christopher Allan conducts this iconic choral work.

Handel's Messiah is the world's most-loved choral work. It tells the story of the birth and passion of Jesus Christ and was first performed in Dublin in 1742, featuring in Christmas and Easter celebrations ever since. Its most famous movement, the Hallelujah Chorus, is instantly recognisable as one of the most inspirational choral works ever written.
