Welcome to Climate Ready Newcastle's Monday Movie Nights at Pachamama House Community Hub.

 

Join our free, community screenings across 2025 of a collection of films and docos which tell the stories of people working together to confront the climate crisis and protect community, culture and Country in Australia and abroad at Pachamama House Community Hub - 21 Gordon Avenue, Hamilton East.

 

Doors open 6pm for 6:30pm screening

April 14 Movie: 'Connection to Country'


Directed by Tyson Mowarin of Ngarluma country in Western Australia's Pilbara region, this documentary follows Tyson and his daughters daily practice to keep connection to Country and cultural heritage alive as the gas industry and WA government work together to expand mining into the Burrup Peninsula (Murujuga National Park), thought to have the highest concentrations of rock engravings of any known site in the world.
