Celebrate NAIDOC Week with Newcastle Art Gallery through school holiday workshops, traditional performances with local Torres Strait Island community members and our free Art Cart program for families.

Saturday 10 July, 10.00am - 3.00pm
To celebrate NAIDOC Week, join Torres Strait community members for a Gallery wide event.

**Event Change** Due to the extension of Public Health Orders in regional NSW, this performance with Toby Cedar and sons will no longer include dancing. The program has been modified to a roving talk with traditional storytelling and song from artist Toby Cedar throughout the exhibition WARWAR: The Art of Torres Strait.

This event will feature a fish weaving workshop, hymns in the Gallery and free Art Cart activities for families. Roving artist talk times vary, pre-bookings required. All other activities are drop in sessions and no bookings required.
