This is a once off event that is in celebration of NAIDOC Week.
Join us in celebration of NAIDOC Week with a special kids workshop run by established artist Jakeob Watson at Playstate Curate Gallery. Jakeob Watson is a proud Gomeroi man with deep connections to Wonnarua country after being born and raised on country, in Maitland NSW. Through this workshop he will be combining his love of art and his cultural background to help educate and teach kids his Indigenous heritage.
This workshop will allow your kids to share symbols, stories and creativity as they explore the reasoning behind their final work. Materials and supplies provided.
