The Newcastle Seed Library is a community seed sharing project supported by Newcastle Libraries. It is like a regular library, yet for seeds. The Seed Library is free for library members –take home some seeds, just as you would borrow a book. After growing in your garden, you are encouraged to harvest and return seeds to the Seed Library for others to borrow. Outlets are located at Wallsend, Lambton and Digital Libraries. Seed donations can be made at any Newcastle Libraries' branch.
