SailFest Newcastle Regatta

There are plenty of opportunities to catch the dazzling array of colour as the harbour comes alive during SailFest. Across two days of racing, there are five racing locations to get involved in.

Offshore keelboat racing will feature both a passage race starting and ending from Newcastle Harbour, and a series of offshore windward leeward races.

Inshore we have the Cock of the Harbour race from 2pm on Saturday and will sail a course between Stockton, Newcastle pilot station, Queens Wharf, and Dyke Point.

We will see the return of the Sailing Champions League Asia Pacific FINAL sailing in front of the Honeysuckle Hotel on both days.

Finally, at Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, free kids try sailing for ages 6-12 with qualified instructors. No experience required, just some comfortable clothes that can get wet. Operating both Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 2pm.
