Singalong - Favourites and Farewell

After 15 years of popular musical get-togethers, the next Singalong at Adamstown Uniting Church at 2pm, Sunday, November 3, will, sadly, be the last, with a program titled Favourites and Farewell.

A list of the most requested songs has been compiled and will include It’s a Grand Night for Singing, You’ll Never Walk Alone, What a Wonderful World, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, Shall We Dance, I Could Have Danced All Night, You Are My Sunshine,     Summer Holiday, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, Do You Hear the People Sing, Edelweiss, I Still Call Australia Home, We’ll Meet Again, with medleys of Music Hall and Wartime Songs and many more. 

All the lyrics are shown on screen, local singers lead the music and Maestro Philip Sketchley keeps everyone in tune. Tickets at the door are $15 and afternoon tea is included, with all funds raised going to local charity. For more information phone 49435316.
