Keith Nesbitt is an artist and scientist who grew up in Newcastle on the east coast of Australia. He has been painting for around 45 years. In this limited first edition he presents his paintings in chronological order, reflecting on the common creative patterns that have emerged over time.

Keith has also worked on a number of collaborative music projects, providing lyrics for six albums. His formal training is in Medicine, Mathematics, and Computer Science, and he is an author of over 100 scientific publications. In this book he shares his personal insights on both the common grounds and major gulfs between his scientific and artistic endeavours.

The launch will be opened by Gillean Shaw, Art Curator at the University of Newcastle. Following a speech by Keith Nesbitt, attendees will be invited to join us on a walk at 6.45pm to Back to Back Gallery for a special viewing of Keith’s latest exhibition “INTER/SECTION" by view3 Artists. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signed by the author.

Bookings essential.
