For the first time in Newcastle, The SpongeBob Musical. Based on the hit Nickelodeon cartoon, this bubble-filled production follows the adventures of SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy and Squidward on their mission to save the town of Bikini Bottom and have the Best Day Ever!
This musical mash-up features songs from famous artists such as Aerosmith (Bikini Bottom Boogie), Sara Bareilles (Poor Pirates), Panic! At the Disco (Simple Sponge), Cyndi Lauper (Hero is my Middle Name), John Legend (I Guess I Miss You), David Bowie (No Control) and many more. This creative blend of musical styles allows our production to be expressive and innovative, featuring a plethora of contrasting dance genres and staging opportunities in this full-length contemporary musical.
