Threepence, Newcastle Fringe Festival, The Newy Hotel

Newcastle’s home of live music, The Newcastle Hotel in Islington is once again a venue partner for the Newcastle Fringe Festival 2025. Threepence will be performing at the Newy as part of this amazing festival.

Threepence are four delightful voices who love producing harmonies using songs from diverse styles including Indie, folk, blues, and originals. They have a feel-good vibe and have taken their vibrant tones to Australian and NZ festivals and folk events over the last 9 years. Threepence are Anne Cowper (vocals, uke), Penny Creighton (vocals, percussion, uke), Gail Walsh (vocals, u-bass) and Lynden Jacobi (vocals, uke). They have a colourful and well-practised presentation with a unique repertoire.
