The 'Dry to Dry: The Seasons of Kakadu' exhibition is based on the nature story picture book of the same title by Pamela Freeman and illustrated by Liz Anelli, published by Walker Books Australia. 

It is a stunning tour of Kakadu National Park, showcasing detailed illustrations and the extraordinary story of the yearly weather cycle and attendant changing wildlife. 

Join us for a fun family activity and explore:

  • Beautifully written narrative and unique story of Australia's largest National Park
  • Free creative art activities for children
  • Stunning original mixed media illustrations by local artist Liz Anelli
  • Animation from the picture book created by local school students

Exhibition period: Friday 2 July - Saturday 21 August (during Newcastle (City) Library opening hours)
