The University of Newcastle’s Creative Industries present their annual student showcase, Festival X 2021, is set to kick off Friday 5 November at 5.00pm for three nights full of performances, exhibitions and screenings. Due to the current COVID-19 restriction, this year Festival X will run as a virtual event. The event is a combination of student works from music, design, visual communication, illustration, film and theatre. You will have the opportunity to view film screenings, music performance, animation and much more. Hosted by Newcastle radio host Nick Gill, from Hit 106.9 Nick, Jess and Ducko, this fun, interactive event will keep you entertained over your whole weekend.
