Celebrating the release of the first YAG Y2C Zine, this online workshop is the chance to get your hands dirty and learn more about the art of ceramics. Local emerging artist Brigitte Beyer of BRB Ceramics will take you through a step-by-step process to build your own vase, bowl, and candle holder, perfect for decorating your home or to give to a loved one. Bring the clay studio right to your home with this material-inclusive online workshop experience. 

Online Event Instructions:  
Details for accessing the Zoom workshop will be emailed to participants. Clay and decorative materials will be included in the event cost, and any further instructions / equipment will be communicated via email. This workshop is recommended for audiences 16 years and up. Places are limited.

About the artist: 
Brigitte Beyer is an emerging ceramic artist based in Newcastle. After graduating from the University of Newcastle with Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours, Brigitte’s creative practice has developed to focus solely on the ceramics medium, and her work is distinctive across Newcastle’s arts community. Brigitte has exhibited her work at Maitland Regional Art Gallery, The Lock Up, and Back to Back Galleries. You can find her pieces stocked locally at The Lair and House of Lita.
