It's all in the detail: a fascination with drawing
“I never tire of the quiet world that is the space between the pen, the eye and the page,” says Nicola Hensel about her drawing technique. Hensel’s art practice is based on keen observation with the intricacies of the line, transforming urban and domestic surroundings as well as botanical specimens into what could be described as poetic lyricism.
