Low Level Panic by Clare McIntyre premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 1988, winning the Samuel Beckett Award. It will be the second production presented by HER Productions, directed by Maike Strichow and showing in Newcastle's CBD at Catupult Dance Hub.
It is a close up and extremely personal glimpse into the private lives of three women living in a share house in the 90's. It is set in a share house bathroom and includes surreal moments of fantasy and memory taking a deep dive into the complexities of the three women navigating daily existence in a hyper sexualised world dominated by the male gaze.
