This workshop unleashes your playful creativity to create something extraordinary and beautiful from waste. Foraged marine debris and discarded waste are sources of inspiration for creating something new from what we have around us.

Suitable for 8+ years. Please wear enclosed footwear for using hand tools. Don't forget your hat and water bottle!

In this workshop, you will:

-spend 1 hour walking along Nobbys Beach to collect debris
- spend 2 hours creating something that’s individually yours, using the marine debris collected
- let play, spontaneity, creativity and imperfection guide your project
- learn about the impact of marine debris on our ocean and shores

The workshop will be facilitated by local eco living educator Mardi from French for Tuesday and Diana from See ya Sista.

This event is free for City of Newcastle residents- but all attendees require a ticket.
