There are three courses to the Newcastle Food Month menu;
1. Feature Events – more than 40 Feature Events will fill the Newcastle Food Month calendar. Get to know some of Newcastle’s best chefs, be wined and dined by them in an intimate dinner, put your beer and wine pairing knowledge to the test or broaden your cheese board repertoire.
It’s a great way to get to know our local producers and learn their stories. Newcastle Food Month is, after all, about championing what the Hunter plates up in its backyard and giving you a diverse and tempting array of reasons to eat out to your hearts content in April.
These premium experiences range in cost, time, taste and in some cases raucous fun. There’s some for a good cause, and some cause for a good time. So block out the diary, gather your friends and book in for a one-of-a-kind culinary event before tickets sell out.
2. Plate Date – a meal and beverage for $25. How much do you love food? We thought so. Plate Date is a month-long food tour of our incredibly diverse food scene, where restaurants go beyond the ordinary and put their best foot forward to serve up amazing deals for breakfast/brunch, lunch, cocktail plates and dinner! It’s a no-brainer reason to try something new, or the perfect excuse to visit your tried and tested favourite!
3. Le Dîner en Blanc, the Signature Event of Newcastle Food Month, is a magical, extraordinary experience famous for its all-white dress code, surprise location and chic pop-up style dinner. Although the location is a secret, you’ll be in fine company when you join us to share a delicious meal and enjoy a night to remember under the stars with friends.
