Bring your much-loved broken items back to life at the Newcastle Libraries Repair Café! Now held on the first Saturday of every second month at various library and community locations across Newcastle.

A repair cafe is a place where skilled repairers meet non-repairers to teach them skills to fix things. Featured repair skills will include small furniture, small hand tools, and clothing.

This free event will also feature a plant/seed swap hosted by Newcastle Seed Library volunteers. Bring along seedlings, plants, seeds, gardening magazines and tools to swap.

Enjoy the morning exploring the community garden at Hamilton South Community Hall. Morning tea provided.

Ages: All the family

Bookings essential.

If you have any access or inclusion needs, please email library@ncc.nsw.gov.au

This Repair Café is brought to you by Newcastle Libraries in partnership with City of Newcastle Waste Services and Catholic Care Social Services.
