Bring your much-loved broken items back to life at the Newcastle Repair Café. Held on the first Saturday of every second month at library and community locations across Newcastle.

A repair cafe is a place where skilled repairers teach non-repairers skills to fix things. Featured repair skills include small furniture, small hand tools (including knife, scissor and tool sharpening), clothing and textiles.

You are welcome to bring multiple items, however, please prioritise 1 or 2 items and we will endeavour to attend to all your requests if time permits.

Free morning tea provided.

Ages: All the family.

Just drop in, no bookings required!

Newcastle Repair Café is presented by Newcastle Libraries and City of Newcastle Waste Services as part of the Low Waste Living program.

There will be a free Kintsugi for Clothing: Mending with Gold Threads workshop held in conjunction with this Repair Cafe, bookings are essential. Book your spot on the event listing page.
