Bruce Elder, former travel writer for the Age and Sydney Morning Herald, and author of over 60 books, has an unusual qualification: he has visited every town in Australia … twice. The result is a website – Aussie Towns – which has detailed information about 1,322 towns*. Containing over 6,000 photographs and taking over seven years to create.

Bruce will take you on a journey describing how he visited all the towns, the writing process and the funny, amusing and quirky experiences he had along the way. He will persuade you to consider travelling and exploring as a wonderful way to spend your retirement.

Cost: Free

Bookings essential.
