Surfest 2024 will present 8 surfing events during the months of February and March 2024: February 17, February 24 & 25, March 2 & 3, March 8 - 17
Surfest is the largest surfing festival in the Southern Hemisphere and also one of the longest continous running surfing events in the world. It is a celebration of place, of people and attracts over 600 male and female competitors from the Asian Pacific region to competefor World Surf League ranking points and cash prizemoney.
Surfest attracts millions of viewers worldwide through the webcast of the World Surf League Qualifying Series 5000 mens and womens events.
Surfest will also present events for boys and girls surfers in age divisions U14, U16, U18 and U20 years as well as a High School Teams Challenge for NSW High School students.
Surfest 2024 home beach is Merewether Beach, the home of four time World Champion Mark Richards and a national surfing reserve.
