On the first Wednesday of the month, from March to November, enjoy morning tea and hear from artists, curators, designers and specialists in the visual arts.
This month:
Artist Angus Nivison is inspired by the New England landscape. Winner of the AGNSW Wynne Prize for landscape painting in 2002 and a finalist in 2022, the artist paints in his studio at Yalgoolygum outside Walcha. The artist shares his creative process referencing his paintings held in the Newcastle Art Gallery collection.
Please note: Due to the closure of the Gallery this event will be held in the Hunter Room at Newcastle City Hall.
